Actionstep System Upgrades - March 5th 2023

Modified on Mon, 27 Feb 2023 at 06:06 PM

Actionstep Community,

We are excited to inform you that over the past three months, we have been working on a major upgrade of our PHP version and subsystems. This is part of our ongoing effort to improve the security and stability of our systems, and we are proud to announce that this work is now concluding.

The release of this new version will require an outage to rotate hardware to new versions and deploy the new code environments. This type of outage is atypical for Actionstep but necessary for this significant upgrade. As a result, we have carefully planned the release date to minimize any inconvenience to you.

The planned outage will occur on Sunday, March 5th at 11AM NZT. This will happen concurrently for all systems, regardless of geographic location. The outage will be approximately three hours as our team works through the deployments.

See the table below for more local times.

Canada / United States
  • Saturday, March 4th at 12PM - 4PM MT
United Kingdom
  • Saturday, March 4th at 7PM - 11PM GMT

Australia
  • Sunday, March 5th at 6AM - 10AM AEDT
New Zealand
  • Sunday, March 5th at 8AM - 12PM NZT

During this time, your Actionstep system may become unavailable. We strongly suggest planning to not work with the system while the upgrade is occurring to avoid any unforeseen complications or data loss.

We understand that this is a large change.  Rest assured that this upgrade has been thoroughly tested, and we are confident of its success and benefit.

During the outage, our teams will be working to ensure a smooth deployment. Our Support Team will also be available should you require any assistance.

Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your patience as we work to make our systems more secure and stable for all Actionstep customers.
