Is this a legitimate Actionstep email?

Yes, Actionstep from time to time will send communications of this nature and this is a genuine pricing increase notification.

 

Why are you increasing the pricing?

We understand that this change can be challenging and want to assure you that the decision was made with careful consideration. Due to rising operational costs driven by inflation and the need to sustain and enhance our platform, we found it necessary to adjust our pricing. 

This change allows us to continue investing in new features and improvements that directly benefit your business, maintain the high level of service you expect, and ensure our long-term operational stability. We believe these enhancements will significantly add to the value you receive from our services.

 

If I switch to annual billing, can I pay the annual amount at the old pricing?

The price increase will come into effect on the next invoice you receive after August 15th, 2024. If your next invoice renewal date is before August 15th and you switch to annual billing, your next payment will reflect the current pricing scheme. If your next invoice date is after August 15th, switching to annual billing will result in your annual fee reflecting this price increase. 
 

If I pay my annual bill amount upfront now, can I avoid the price increase? 

If your next invoice date is after August 15th, the pricing increase will apply regardless of when the amount is paid. 

 

Can I downgrade to a lower pricing subscription tier?

It is not possible to downgrade your system.


What is my current subscription cost?

Can I negotiate a low rate?

As the core driver for these price increases is the increase in operational costs and the need for the Actionstep business to continually develop and improve the platform, the price increases are non-negotiable and will be applied for invoices due on or after August 15, 2024.
