On 1 August 2024, Actionstep released an update to how it connects to Google Drive. This may result in an admin user having to reconnect the integration to continue to use that service. In this article we will discuss what this change will mean and how you can reconnect.
What does this change mean?
This change will have no effect on the data and documents you have been accessing through Google Drive up to this point. The change merely updates how you authorize Google to give Actionstep access to your Google Drive. Once reconnected, you will have access to all documents and options you had access to previously.
If your Google Drive does need to reconnect, your users will see an error similar to this one.
How do I reconnect?
Please note, that only an Actionstep administrator can follow this process and must have the login credentials for the Google Drive account you want to integrate with Actionstep.
If you need to reconnect your Google Drive, follow these steps:
- Click Admin
- Click Integrations
- Click Manage next to Google Drive
- Click Remove
- Enter a reason and click Delete Selection
- Follow the prompts on screen to authorize against your Google Account
