Saving an Email to Multiple Matters

If you want to associate an email with multiple matters, you can create this association once the email is added to Actionstep.



To do this:

  1. In Actionstep, view the matter the email is saved to. (See Editing a Matter for help.)
  2. Click the Comms menu icon. 
  3. Open the email you want to associate with another matter by clicking it. 
  4. Click Add Association.
     The Set Associations window appears.
  5. Make sure the Matter tab is selected and the current matter is listed. 
  6. In the search field at the bottom of the list, enter the name of the matter you want to add the email to and then select it.
  7. Click Save to save your changes and establish the new association. 
  8. Click Close in the email toolbar to return to the Comms list.


You can view the email for the newly associated matter by going to that matter and clicking the Comms menu icon.
