As someone assigned to approve trust requests, there may be times when you need to reject a trust request (For example, a sale has fallen through and the matter is no longer progressing). This article covers the steps for doing this.
To reject a trust request:
- In Actionstep, go to Trust > Requests > Trust Request List. The Trust Request List page appears.
- Find the request that you have been tasked with approving or rejecting in the list and click its ID. (If you don't see the request, consider adjusting your Filters.) The Receipt Request page appears.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and add your reason for rejecting the request to the Activity Log.
- Near the top of the page, click Reject. The page is updated to show the request was rejected.
- Optionally, click Not assigned next to the Assignee field and assign the request back to the original requestor to make them aware of the rejection.
