Once you click this link, check your browser's default Downloads folder for the ZIP file.
The tutorial includes the following components:
- A PDF with step-by-step instructions for installing a test matter type to your system, syncing the matter type with Actionstep, installing the tools needed to build a template, building the template, and finally, adding the template to the test matter type in Actionstep. The PDF is very detailed and includes screenshots to help you learn these basic processes.
- Three Word document files you will use as you complete the tutorial.
Before you get started:
- You will need an Actionstep Builder subscription.
- You or an admin will need to enable Builder in your Actionstep system.
- You will need a Builder account with sign-in credentials.
- You should know your orgkey name. (This determines the name of your Builder workspace.)
Other assumptions:
- In providing the tutorial, it is assumed you are proficient with using both Microsoft Word and Actionstep. Little explanation is provided for specific Microsoft or Actionstep functionality.
- This tutorial is not a comprehensive training on using Builder. It introduces you to the core concepts of Builder.
- Builder is an ever-evolving product. While care is taken to make sure this tutorial is updated regularly, there may be times when the product and the tutorial don't match up. When this happens and you cannot resolve it or find a quick workaround, please contact Support.
