Knowledge Base Permissions

Overview

You can set the permissions on each topic by either editing the topic in Knowledge Base Admin or by going to Admin > Users & Permissions >Data Permissions (ActionStep creates a new system object for each topic in the Knowledge Base).



You will also need to set Menu Permissions as well. Select Actionstep_Main_Menu and ensure that Intranet is ticked for that system role:


Select Actionstep_Intranet_Menu, ensure that Contents, Search and _Spacer_ are all ticked, the others are optional:
