In this article, you will learn how to install the Microsoft Office plug-in for Actionstep.
NOTE: Actionstep no longer supports or recommends the Microsoft Office plug-in. It is considered legacy technology that Microsoft no longer supports or updates. Although it may still work for some users, it's recommended you use the OneDrive integration. To learn more, see Using Microsoft OneDrive with Actionstep.
The plugin is currently only available for Windows users.

To install and authorize the Office plug-in:
- Visit the Actionstep website to find the Office Plugin.
- Click Install to download the installer.
- Find the downloaded file on your computer and run it to complete the installation process.
- Launch Word, PowerPoint, or Excel. When the window is opened, you'll see a new Actionstep tab along the top of the window.
- Click the Actionstep tab.
- Click Authorize.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in to the Actionstep system that you are authorizing the plug-in for.
Once you have finished the authorization process, you will be ready to use the plug-in.
