A user license is required to configure merge field mapping and to generate documents via the HotDocs interview form.
Unlicensed users may only access documents once they have been generated. If you remove the extension (or all the licenses) the generated documents will not be affected, but will not be able to be re-generated without a License.
Accessing HotDocs Installation
The HotDocs integration can be installed using either of two methods.
Within your system
The HotDocs integration can be installed from Admin > Integrations.
Scroll to the HotDocs 'Hd' logo and select Connect with HotDocs
From the Actionstep Marketplace
Use the following link to access the HotDocs page on Actionstep Marketplace:
https://www.actionstep.com/integrations/hotdocs
Select the 'Get' button:
If you have access to multiple Actionstep systems, you will be prompted to select a system:
If you are not logged into Actionstep, you will be prompted to login.
Installing HotDocs
Accessing the installation from the Integrations screen will provide an 'Install HotDocs' button. Select that to continue.
If installing from the Marketplace, you will go to the next step.
Assigning Licenses
On this screen, you can select which users will be licensed to use the HotDocs integration.
Select the checkboxes for each user and 'I accept the changes to my subscription.'
The screen will calculate and display the changes for your Actionstep billing.
Finally, select 'Install.'
Now, the HotDocs integration is installed in your system.
