This article described where you can find your trust accounting administration screen and what you can configure from this screen.
The trust accounting administration can be found by going to Admin > Trust Accounting.
On this screen you will find the following sections.
Regional trust setting (plug-in)
If you are ever asked what trust regional setting or trust plug-in you have enabled this is where you find it.
Matter Types
This is where you enable trust accounting in relation to matter types. If a matter type requires trust accounting enabled, for example, conveyancing or real estate then you would enable it here. For more information see: Trust Account - Add Matter Types
Bank Accounts
This is where we enter the details of all trust bank accounts held by the firm.
Linked System Accounts
This is where you are able to change linked GL accounts if this differs from the default that Actionstep automatically links. For more information: System Accounts
Bulk import specifications
Actionstep gives you the ability to upload trust transactions in bulk through the import receipts or import payments functions, both found under the trust menu. For more information: Importing Trust Transactions
Additional Settings
To edit overrides, deposit slips settings, default payment methods, reason for payment, trust statement settings and trust lock-out date. For more information: Additional Settings
