Run the Balance Sheet report to see your organization's financial position as of a selected date.
Configurations
Option | Description |
Balance Sheet Date | This report shows the organization's financial position at a given date. You can input any date or use the drop-down to pre-select a date.

Comparison Date | This is where you can display comparative periods. You can input any date or use the drop-down to pre-select a date

Level of nested accounts | You would normally set this to the maximum selection of 4, if you were to choose 1 for example you would only see the header accounts with no details in relation to child accounts. There is a maximum of 4 nested accounts that can be shown in this report. |
Show account numbers | If ticked will show the general ledger account numbers. |
Show zero value accounts | If ticked will show general ledger accounts with zero value. |
Comparative Reports
You can create comparison reports with the balance sheet. For example, I would like to see my financial position at the end of last month and compare this to the same date last year.
You would choose the setting below.
When this report is generated you can compare the general ledger accounts a year apart.
