At times, you may need to delete custom data fields you've added to a participant type.
To do this:
- In Actionstep, go to Admin >Additional Settings. The Additional Settings page appears.
- Click Edit in the Participant types section.

Click the name of the participant type you want to delete the custom data field for. The Edit Participant Type window appears.
TIP: You can also click the number link in the Data Field Count column.
- Click Edit custom data fields. The Custom Data Fields for [Participant_type] window appears.
- Click the name for the field you want to delete. The Edit Custom Data Field window appears.
- Click Delete.
- On the page that appears, enter a Reason for deletion and click Delete Selection.
The field is deleted and you're returned to the Participant Types page.
