Editing Participant Custom Data Fields (Admin)

You can edit custom data fields that have been associated with participant types. Custom data fields allow you to collect information about a participant when the contact record doesn't include the right fields for doing this.

 

To do this:

  1. In Actionstep, go to Admin > Additional settings. The Additional Settings page appears.
  2. Click Edit in the Participant types section. The Participant Types page appears.
  3. Click the name of the participant type you want to edit the data for. The Edit participant type window appears.
  4. Click Edit custom data fields. The Custom data fields for [Participant_type] window appears.
  5. Click the Field name, Label, or Data type for the field you want to edit.
  6. Make your changes. (See Adding Custom Data Fields to a Participant Type for help with these fields).
  7. Click Save when you are finished.
  8. Click Done to return to the Participant Types list.
