ABOUT CAPTURE: At this time, Capture is available to selected pilot customers only. However, all customers will be able to access Capture soon. To learn more about this new product, contact your customer success manager or submit a Customer Support ticket. Information in this article may still be under development.
Once you've created and tested (or previewed) your Capture form, you can publish it.
Which type of form you are publishing determines what happens once the form is published:
- Regular forms are published to the matter type and are accessible from the Capture page of a specific matter.
- When you publish a web form, the embed code is generated so you can copy it and add it to your firm's website.
Once a form is published, you can no longer make changes to it. If you need to edit a form further, you must unpublish it.
To publish a Capture form:
- In Actionstep, click More > Capture in the main menu.
- Choose Form Builder or Web Forms > Web Form List, depending on the type of form you want to publish. The Forms list page appears.
- Find the unpublished form. You can use the search box or the filters above the form list to help you.
- Click the ellipses icon for the form and choose Publish. Then confirm the action.
- Distribute the published form. For help, see Sharing a Published Capture Form.
NOTE: To unpublish a form, click the ellipses icon again and choose Unpublish from the list of options.
