TIP:  This report includes information about the responsible lawyer. To learn more about this role in billing, see Understanding the 'Responsible Lawyer' Role in Actionstep Billing.

Brief Description

The Aged WIP report shows you your aged work in progress. The report displays both fees and expenses (disbursements) that have yet to be billed. Specifically, it shows the value of unbilled fees and expenses by a client, matter, matter type, responsible lawyer, and/or bill type.

NOTE:  This report shows only the current unbilled WIP as at today's date. For example, if you run the report on 5 August for the date ending 31 July, any WIP billed between the 31st and the 5th will no longer be shown in the report. To view historical WIP, run the report at the end of every month to keep as a comparable.

Each of these tables, however, shows WIP by hours and amount for different time periods (current, 31-60 days, 61-90 days, 91-120 days, and beyond 120 days).
