mattero’s integration with InfoTrack allows Users to directly create searches and service orders via a Matter in mattero. When the order is initiated, the Matter's information automatically pre-fills the order.
When the order is completed, associated Costs and Documents will sync back to mattero, and the status of the order will update.
Prerequisites
You must have a InfoTrack subscription account, and configured InfoTrack expense cost codes in mattero.
If needed, contact InfoTrack to set up an account.
Enable InfoTrack Integration
To enable InfoTrack integration:
- On the sidebar, select System (
).
- Under Matters, select Searching and Services.
- Select the Search Services Enabled button.
- Select Save.
GST Free and GST Applicable Cost Codes must also be set, which will be used to create an Expense cost record for each InfoTrack service order.
To configure or update InfoTrack expense cost codes:
- Select the GST Free Cost Code dropdown menu and select a cost code.
- Select the GST Applicable Cost Code dropdown menu and select a cost code.
- Click Save.
Please note, if a new expense Cost Code must be created, click on the "Cost Codes" link beneath the GST dropdown menus to visit the Cost Codes system page.

Further, if the Matter you complete an InfoTrack search within is configured to not calculate GST, GST will not be applied to the cost record returned from InfoTrack.

Connect to InfoTrack
To connect to InfoTrack:
- From a Matter, select the Searches tab.
- Select New Service.
- Select the InfoTrack button that appears (you will be taken to the InfoTrack login page).
- Enter your InfoTrack username and password and sign in (you will be taken back to your Matter in mattero).
Create New InfoTrack Service Orders
To create an InfoTrack service order:
- From a Matter, click on the Searches tab.
- Select New Service (you will be taken to the InfoTrack login page).
- From InfoTrack, select the required Search or Service (the associated matter number will automatically fill on the order).
- Complete the order. (When the order is completed, the PDF document and fees save to the Matter.)
Please note, once you have logged in to InfoTrack, your session is saved. This allows New Services to be made without having to log in again.
View InfoTrack Service Orders
To view an InfoTrack service order:
- From a Matter, click on the Searches tab. (All orders made for this Matter are displayed.)
- Select from the available filters (such as Date Ordered, Ordered By, Status, contains words etc.) to find specific orders.
View InfoTrack Costs
To view the Costs associated with an InfoTrack service order:
- From a Matter, click on the Searches tab.
- Select the Total Fee of an order.
- You will be taken to the Matter's Costs page. Individual costs and a running total are displayed here.
View InfoTrack Documents
To view a document associated with an InfoTrack service order:
- From a Matter, click on the Searches tab.
- Select the PDF icon located beside the status of the order. You will be taken to the Matter's Document page, where a document preview will display.
Please note, two Document Tags will assign to the document's record: "InfoTrack" and a second Tag based on the description of the InfoTrack service order.
