Q. What is the best way to export an entire matters data collection through a zap?
A. There are two steps to obtaining custom data values in a zap they are 1. Finding the custom data field and 2. Retrieving the custom data value – there is also a third option which is editing the custom field value – meaning you can update the custom data field from the zap and it will automatically update in Actionstep. Q. I am having trouble ensuring certain words within a template are caps lock after the document has been generated.
A. If merge fields are showing as capitals this would usually be because your merge field is set to make the letters uppercase. For more information, see Merge Field Options. Note: you need to remove the UPPERCASE merge field option or make sure the actual name of the merge field is not in UPPERCASE letters as this will also produce an UPPERCASE word.
