Invoiced Fees by Fee Earner

You may be looking for a report that will show you invoiced fees by fee earner. Unfortunately, at this time Actionstep does not provide a pre-built report that will provide you with invoiced fees by fee earner. 

Account Entries Report

If your fee earners have individualised General Ledger income accounts like the below:- 

And all time entries when invoiced are allocated to the appropriate fee earners' general ledger then you can run an account entries report to work out the invoiced fees by fee earner for a certain period. 

However, administratively this does require some effort in terms of making and archiving specific fee-earner income accounts (especially if you have a number of fee earners you wish to keep track of).

Custom List - Time Entries

We can create a custom list view of time entries to show time entries that belong to specific fee earners and filter by time period. However, this will show the value of the time invoiced not the invoiced amount. 

You may ask what does this mean? This means that this will report on the value of time that has been invoiced per fee earner not the actual amount that has been invoiced. It will take into consideration any adjustments, discounts, or fixed fees (if not attached to a time entry). 

If you do adjust fees, provide discounts, or bill on a fixed fee basis without adding a time entry then this will not meet your requirements. 

Cloudify Inform

Our partners Cloudify offer a basic reporting suite for customers for free which provides a report on individualised fee earners.

Building your own Custom Reporting Suite

It is also possible to build your own reporting suite using Power-bi or an equivalent. Actionstep provide you with a SQL Export or all of your data, for more information see here:  SQL Export Tool This is provided as a daily link that you need to access and download on a manual basis to automate this process and get the data from Actionstep into your custom built reporting suite automatically one of Actionstep's partners Konekta offer an integration for more information see here: Konekta - Data sync

It may also be possible to automate this process yourself however this will require your own research and development team to put together a solution for you. This is not something that Actionstep can provide advice regarding.
