Starting 18 November 2026, all Actionstep users will be required to sign in to the Actionstep Help Center to view articles and submit and manage their support requests.
Each Actionstep user creates their own sign-in profile, which does not require administrator approval. The process is simple and quick.
Please note the following:
- Use the work email address you use when you contact Actionstep Support.
- Your Help Center sign-in is separate from your Actionstep sign-in profile.
- If you use both Practice Management and Legal Accounting, the same email and password work for both help centers.
If You Already Have a Support Sign-In Profile
If you've contacted Actionstep Support in the past, you may already have an account.
To check for an existing profile:
- Go to the Practice Management Help Center and click Sign in.
- Enter your work email and password.
- If you don’t remember your password, click Forgot my password and enter your work email.
- Open the email from support@actionstep.com and follow the link to set a new password.
- Sign in with your new password.
Note: If you're not sure if you have an account, try Forgot my password first. If no email arrives within a few minutes, use the Sign up option instead.
If You Don't Have a Support Sign-In Profile
To create a new profile:
- Go to the Practice Management Help Center.
- Click Sign in.
- Click Sign up, then enter your name and work email.
- Open the verification email from support@actionstep.com and follow the link to set your password.
- Sign in with your user ID and password.
Note: If you're not sure if you have an account, try Forgot my password first. If no email arrives within a few minutes, use the Sign up option instead.
Troubleshooting
I didn’t receive an email
Check your junk or spam folder, and add support@actionstep.com to your safe senders. If your firm filters external email, ask your IT team to allow emails from support@actionstep.com.
My link has expired
Password and verification links expire after a period of time. Request a new one using the same steps.
I signed in but can’t see my previous support requests
Make sure you signed in with the same email address you use to contact Actionstep Support. If you used a different one, contact Support and they can link them.
Can my team share one login?
Please don’t. Each person should have their own sign-in, because the Help Center shows each person’s own support requests.
Still need help?
Email Actionstep Support at support@actionstep.com and a support agent will help you get set up.
