Actionstep Acumen is an add-on to Actionstep Practice Management that gives your firm business intelligence on the data you already keep in Actionstep. It combines pre-built dashboards, consistently defined performance metrics, drill-downs, and AI-assisted insights, all inside Actionstep. Acumen is designed for partners, practice managers, finance teams, and fee earners who need a reliable view of performance without building reports themselves.
Acumen is built directly on your Practice Management data. It complements, rather than replaces, standard Actionstep reporting. While your existing reports remain available, Acumen adds an analytics layer focused on firm and individual performance, plus AI tools that help explain what the numbers mean.
The available dashboards include:
- Firm Management Dashboard: The Firm Management Dashboard is a role-based view of firm-wide performance for management, accounting, and operations teams. (See About the Firm Management Dashboard.)
- Fee Earners: This dashboard gives each fee earner a personal view of their own WIP, billed fees, collected fees, and aged balances, scoped to their signed-in user profile. (See About the Fee Earners Dashboard.)
Acumen also includes Ask Acumen, an AI tool that helps users understand the data on the dashboard they are currently viewing.
