This article covers information about Trace, Actionstep's AI-based time-tracking product. To learn more, contact your Actionstep customer success manager or account executive.
You can give other users access to your Trace suggestions so they can review your activities and create time records on your behalf. This is useful when a legal assistant or administrator manages time entries for another user, such as a senior partner.
To give another user access to your Trace suggestions:
- In Actionstep Practice Management, view your My Profile page. (See Getting to Know the 'My Profile' Page for help.)
- In the Trace section, click Configure. The Trace Settings page appears.
- In the Share suggestions with section, click the Users drop-down list and choose one or more users you want to have access to your suggestions.
- Click Save to save your changes.
Once access is granted, the selected users can view your Trace suggestions in the Trace panel of your timesheet and use them to create time records on your behalf.
Note: Only users you've specifically authorized can see your Trace suggestions. Authorized users can access your suggestions even if they don't use Trace themselves.
