The Trace Timesheet shows you a list of individual time entries—both those that are recorded as well as those that are suggested.
To access the Trace Timesheet:
- In Practice Management, go to Timesheet > Today. The Timesheet page is displayed.
- Review the following options available on this page.
A. Date options: Use these options to view time entries on a specific date (Today or a different day the month).
B. Time summary: View a summary of your day in terms of billable work and non-billable work. Working shows a total of both billable and non-billable hours.
C. Fee Earner: Choose the specific timekeeper whose time entries you want to view.
D. Time entries list: Shows a detailed list of time entries that have been logged for the selected timekeeper. Each individual entry shows matter information, specific tasks that were completed (in the Task / Activity column), the time the task was started as well as how long it lasted and whether the work was billable (and if it was, its Bill status). It also provides options for editing the time entry or deleting it.
E. Trace / Suggestions panel: Use this panel to review work you've done that has not yet been converted into a time entry. This panel is divided into two categories:
- Trace, which suggests work you've completed outside of Practice Management. (These events are recorded using the Trace desktop app.)
- Suggestions, which suggests work you've completed while working in Practice Management.
Using the available options in the Time Entry Suggestions panel, you can either add an event to your timesheet or hide it. You can also view any activities you've already hidden.
