Receipt Audit Report

Brief Description  

This report lists all receipts between a date/number range and their information.

 


Use Cases 

This report is useful for checking the activity against a particular payment as it will also display any reversals of deposits.

 


Finding and Using the Report

  1. In Actionstep Practice Management, go to Reports > Matter Reports. (Your menu may show Reports > Matter Reports > Reports List.)
  2. In the Audit, section, click Receipt Audit Report. The report is displayed.

Available Filters

  • Receipt Type: Choose the type of receipt you want included in the report.
  • Created From / To: Enter the date range for the receipt.
  • Receipt Number From / To: Enter the range for receipt numbers.

 


Report Output

  • Receipt #: Shows the number on the receipt.
  • Receipt Date: Shows the date the transaction was completed.
  • Payer: Shows the name of the payer.
  • Payment Date: Shows the payment date.
  • TX ID: Shows the transaction ID. You can click this link to the view the transaction on the general ledger.
  • Payment References: Shows the payment reference (for example, credit card deposit).
  • Beneficiaries: Shows the recipient of the transaction.
  • Amount: Shows the amount of the transaction.
  • Notes: Displays any notes associated with the transaction.
