Actionstep's goal is to meet or exceed the requirements of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to ensure key user journeys are usable with assistive technologies. Actionstep believes the principles of good accessibility benefit all users.
As a large and evolving platform with multiple functional areas, accessibility conformance varies across different parts of the product. Actionstep’s design system is built on React Aria, which provides deep support for keyboard navigation and assistive technologies, and follows WAI-ARIA and ARIA Authoring Practices guidelines.
Actionstep is on a journey to improve accessibility across its products, and recognizes that there are areas that require more work. It actively partners with customers and users with accessibility needs to identify and address gaps, and incorporates these learnings into its product development process.
