Deleting a General Journal Template

You can delete general journal templates you've created.

 

To do this:

  1. In Actionstep Practice Management, go to Accounting > Accounts > General Journal. The General Journal List page appears.
  2. Click the Search tab located at the top-right corner of the list.
  3. Click the Status drop-down list and choose Template. Then click Search. A list of templates (if available) is listed.
  4. Click the square icon next to the template you want to remove and choose Delete from the list of options that appears.
  5. Click OK to confirm the action.

The template is removed.

Note: When creating a general journal, you can save your configuration as a template, which can then be applied when you create subsequent journal entries. See Creating General Journal Entries to learn more.
