When you complete work for the firm, you can use rate labels to quickly identify the value of the work you performed. After you've created these labels, you may need to adjust them further by renaming the label, adjusting its amount/value, changing the type of rate it is (hourly vs. fixed), etc.
To edit a rate label:
- In Actionstep Practice Management, go to Admin > Billing. The Billing page appears.
- In the Rate labels section, click the existing label you need to update.
The Edit Rate Label window appears. - Make your changes. (See Creating a Rate Label (Admin) for specific information about the available options.)
- When you're finished making your changes, click Save.
