Creating and Applying a Credit Note in Xero

Actionstep Practice Management uses a two-step process when processing payments: first, you must create a credit note and then you must apply this credit note to the invoice you wish to credit.

The process for crediting an invoice if you're using the Xero integration is the same as if you aren't. You can complete the instructions in Creating a Credit Note and Applying a Credit Note to complete this process.

CAUTION:  When using the Xero integration, you cannot complete a client refund or a write-off as these transactions do not flow through to Xero.
