Whenever Actionstep Practice Management detects something in your system that is not considered a "normal" accounting practice, you will be notified. These automatic health checks are run automatically each night, and if something is found, admin users will be alerted when they sign in to the system. (Standard users without this permission will not see the warnings.)
To review and correct these issues:
- For each possible issue that Practice Management finds and displays on the Health Check page, click the listed issue to be directed to information on the related subject.
- If you are not sure how to resolve the issue, it's recommended you raise the issue with your accountant. They should be able to help you find and resolve the cause of the issue.
- Once you fix the issue, you can test that it is resolved by clicking Check again now. To resolve the issue later, click Continue to your home page.
Once this health check page is displayed, Practice Management will not automatically re-check that the issue is resolved. Even if you resolve the issue, Practice Management will continue to show the Health Check page each time you sign in until you click the Check again now button.
To access the Accounting Health Check page:
- In Practice Management, go to Admin >Audit logs.
- Click Accounting health check.
