In this article, we will discuss how to utilize the "Forward Relationships" option on a contact record that relates to a company contact record. For example, if you want to list employees on the company contact home page.
Getting Started - Contact and Company Record
First, you need to create the company record and the contact records that will be related to the company record. For information on how to create a contact record, please see our article on Creating a Contact Record
Navigate to the contact record (that you wish to relate to the company record) and select "Edit".
Scroll down until you see the "Relationships" section. This section should be below your "Default Contact Types" section. Click on "Add Forward Relationship".
In the first drop-down menu, scroll until you see the "Individual to Company". Select an option that is relevant to the contact record. In the second drop-down menu, select the company contact record. Hit save.
Now, navigate to the company contact record. On the homepage, you will now see the contact record listed as a "Related Contact".
Repeat this process if you need to list multiple contacts that are associated with the company contact record!
