You can control Billing permissions in Actionstep for system roles to have certain access to the Billing menu, this is useful if you don't want a particular system role to have access to invoice, payment, credit, writes off etc..
Accesing the Menu Permission
You can determine what level of access a user has to the different areas of the EBM module via Menu Permissions.
To review and modify menu permissions, navigate to the following menu:
Admin → Users & Permissions → Menu Permissions
On this page, you'll see a comprehensive list of all the different menu permissions that govern access to different parts of the system.
You'll firstly want to click on 'Actionstep_Main_Menu'. If you check the box under the 'Billing' column, it will enable users of that System Role to see the 'Billing' menu at the top level navigation.
Checking this box will also allow those users to create bills using the Global Create button.
Referring back to the main Menu Permissions page, with the long list of menu permissions, click on 'Sales_Menu'. If you check the box under the Payments column, it will enable users of that System Role to see the Payments submenu, under the Billing menu on the navigation bar.
For access to Write-offs, Credits and Retainers, click on 'Banking_Menu' from the main list and check box under the Receipts column.
